For most people, their first introduction to the Patient Communications module came during their setup training for Dentrix Ascend. So when it’s time to make changes to your appointment and recare messaging, you might be thinking, “I feel like I watched a video about this when I first started” and wonder where that was and how to see it again. If that’s you, keep reading!
To begin, what you saw was not a video but a tour—the Patient Communication Feature Tour. It presents as a pop-up the first time you open the Patient Communications page. It continues to pop up each time you visit the page, until you finally check the Don’t show this message again box. And now you want to take that tour again.
How to:
1. Open the Patient Communications page (from the Settings menu).
2. Click the Help icon (?) next to the Practice Profile button. The tour opens.
3. Click Start Tour to begin your review of automated communication configuration. Enjoy!
