A common definition of patient retention is the percentage of active patients who consistently return for recare visits within a specified period. Want to keep an eye on your numbers? The Insights page has a dashboard that specifically highlights active patients in recare.
Open the Insights dashboard (Home > Insights).
The Recare section has a bar chart that gives you a snapshot of active patients in recare. At a glance, you can see the total number of active patients and the percentage in recare for the current location. Position your pointer over each color bar to see the corresponding numbers.
For a more detailed report, and to see your perio patients, click the Active Patients in Recare link to open the Active Patient in Recare Report. You can customize the fields of this power report as needed.
- The chart on the Insights page only includes patients assigned to prophy recare and not perio. Also the chart includes numbers for only the past 18 months.
- Click the Includes past 18 months link to open the Active Patients in Recare – Chart report. From there, you can change the date range filter to see, for example, the past 12 months or 6 months.
- If you want to dig deeper into your investigation of patients not in recare, use the Recare Management report. To get started, watch Contacting Patients Using the Recare Management Report in the Resource Center.
