When patients have an extensive treatment history, it can be difficult to find the treatment details or notes about a specific tooth or teeth. You can use a filter option in the Progress Notes to find the history of a specific tooth or group of teeth.
How to view by selected teeth:
- Open the patient’s Chart.
- Select the tooth or teeth whose history you want to see. In this example, tooth 3 is selected.
- Click the Progress Notes tab to view the history of the tooth you have selected. Here you can see that the notes have been filtered for that tooth.
Also, notice that the quadrant where this tooth appears is included. In the example above, tooth 3 is part of the upper-right quadrant.
